First snow

I woke up this morning to snow. The snow is very pretty, but I'm not to happy about the cold. If it is already snowing this early what will December bring? Snowy days are here so I guess I need to think of what I like about it other then what I don't hmmmm!! maybe I will try some kind of new sport this winter. I have never tried to ski. I know strange for being a Colorado native. Actually snow shoeing sounds fun, I just might have to give it a try. What kind of winter sports have you done? leave your feedback.

whats going on with us

well since the last time there is soooo much that has been going on. Kali is on CHS poms, she has competitions coming up along with turning 15 :( Kayden is still doing his art and Marc and I have been working out quit a bit and are thinking about getting back into kickboxing class again. We are going to class tomorrow night..... who knows maybe Kayden will try a class again. :)

what we did on vacation

We stayed in Mexico 6 days. We went swimming every day at the pool and the ocean. We went body surfing, the waves where great for that. Went on a jet ski caught some baby jelly fish. We went shopping down town at the market a couple times. We went out to diner at my favorite restaurant called the point, it's a restaurant on the water. Marc and I got to go on a date we went to dinner at a restaurant up on hill near a light house. You can see the whole town from there. Then we decided to go to a part of the beach called choya bay (not sure if I spelled that right) great place to dig for clams. Left Mexico on Friday spent 2 days in Phoenix Arizona. We went to Arrowhead Mall, then met up with our friends Sean and Stephanie and there 3 kids at a restaurant. So we got to hang out with them Friday night. Saturday we were supposed to come home but decided to stay one more night glad we did cause we got to spend time with our friends and go to a water park there. We did so much more but these are the highlights of our vacation and I will post pictures soon.:)

Bringing our house to life

So we have decided that we are tired of our white walls. We need some color in our house and not only that I am so tired of washing little hand prints off the walls every day. Don't get me wrong I love little hand prints just not on the walls. Marc doesn't trust me to paint by myself (Long story.) He is starting on the living room tonight. I am so excited I will post before and after pics soon.

AMERICA IS BEAUTIFUL!

This weekend was a wonderful weekend spent with family and friends. When I was a little kid 4th of July was just fireworks bar -b -Q's. Time that was spent with family and friends just another holiday this is what I thought of it and I think most kids do think of it as fireworks day. Now that I am older I realize that it isn't just fireworks day. It is a day of celebration of our Independence and I feel blessed that America is so free that we have a day to celebrate our freedom. As I sat there Saturday during a quit period of the day I thought about other country's and how freedom is bought with a price some county's you are killed for your gender, race and religion. Just for being who you are. Some country's are divided and are at war with them selves. America has come a long way and all are created equal. America has come a long way and and all are created equal. In our pledge of allegiance it says ONE NATION UNDER GOD. How powerful is that. Every time I see an American flag it reminds me of #1our hero's who fight in the war for us and lie down there lives for our county. #2 how truly great our country is and how we should be thankful. America is beautiful in every way and I am blessed to be an American.

Kids

I am so proud of my kids. Kali enjoys riding and racing her dirt bike and she is wanting to get back in to dance she was in the dance club at school last year but I think she is wanting to get more into it. She also is a very good volleyball player. Kayden is my creative kid as you all know he is very artistic. We would love to get him into a sport. He really likes to wrestle and I know there are a couple places that have kickboxing lessons so I have been thinking about getting him in that. I think it is very good for kids to stay active. Well there is the update on the kiddos.
